Following news of the Nike Air Force 1 CR7 becoming the latest canvas upon which you can create your own unique look, with it being added to Nike’s By You service, Cristiano Ronaldo has now received the first customised pair, gifted to him by the Swoosh (belatedly) for his birthday.
To mark the launch of the new Air Force 1 CR7 By you along with the birthday of its namesake, Nike have sent Cristiano Ronaldo his very own pair of customised sneakers for his birthday. It’s not the first time that Nike have honoured the Juve man in similar fashion, with a limited-edition Air Force 1 CR7 Golden Patchwork sneaker presented to him to celebrate his fifth Balon d’Or win back in December 2017.
For the most curated version of the AF-1 to date, you can choose from top-tier materials, like smooth grain or tumbled leather for the upper, gold and silver mirrored-chrome underlays along with other carefully thought-through details, including exclusive moulded aglets at the end of the waxed cotton laces.
The safari print from Ronaldo’s first-ever signature edition Mercurial, which was recently rereleased, can play a prominent role should you so choose, taking up centre stage in the Swoosh. There’s also signature CR7 branding on tongues and heels, while the leather insoles are finished with the “I don’t chase records, records chase me” message spelled out across each heel.
