Pelé: Life, Art, Football | Halcyon Gallery

Few names travel around the world as strongly as that of Pelé. Celebrating his life, dedicated to football through an art fueled medium, this exhibition at the Halcyon Gallery in London is a beautiful celebration of one of the world's greatest football treasures.

An icon of monumental proportions, legend doesn't touch the sides. Running up until the 18th October, the Halcyon Gallery is hosting a celebration to mark his 75th Birthday and the countless achievements he has earnt.

Some description

From paint work to sculptures artists from around the globe pay tribute to a colourful character on and off the pitch. Artists include Lorenzo Quinn, Mitch Griffiths, Russell Young, Pedro Paricio, Ernesto Cánovas, Santiago Montoya and Raphael Mazzucco. Topping it off, Andy Warhol's original 1977 painting that formed part of his famous 'Athletes' series is in attendance.
