'Doodling the Headlines' by Wriggles & Robins

Celebrating the culmination of EURO 2016, filmmakers 'Wriggles and Robins' have released this short film entitled 'Doodling the Headlines'. Scribing all over them in fact, this video brings together football and animation to present those stand out moments from the tournament.

Explaining the process that brought the project to life, the pair gave us a slice of insight behind the scenes. "The plan was to make a tournament highlights film in a way that had never been done before, from the unexpected Icelandic heroes to the moth that landed on Ronaldo in the final."

Some description

"The film was created by collecting newspaper coverage throughout the games, over the 4 week period we doodled on the pages so that when blown in the wind the drawings would animate together, connecting all the highlights from the tournament." A beautiful way to mark a solid showcase of international football.
