SB Features | badlydrawnicons

We're big fans of footballing art here at SB HQ, anyone that can put their own spin on iconic footballers, moments and eras and do it well deserves credit and the next gallery to feature is the work of a freelance illustrator that goes by the title of 'badlydrawnicons'.

badlydrawnicons specialise in sports illustration, especially football and has previously hooked up for collaborations with the likes of BT Sport and adidas.

Their work has captured monumental footballing moments such as Bale's winning header in the 2014 Champions League Final, legendary players such as Alan Shearer and Matt Le Tissier as well as comedy pieces such as Lee Cattermole's disturbingly high waisted shorts.

badlydrawnicons have also started to leave their mark on the 2014 World Cup after taking their hand to capture Robin van Persie's outrageous header against Spain and Thomas Müller's hat trick against Portugal.
