It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from SETTPACE, but after a brief break the concept designer is back with a bang, returning with an adidas x Palm Angels x Missoni Bayern Munich shirt.
Been quite a year and a half and no mistake. Sometimes it pays to take a bit of time, recuperate, recenter, and return better than ever, and that’s exactly what concept designer SETTPACE has done. Returning to the fantasy collaboration fold, the first drop since his return sees a special hook up between adidas and the previously established pairing of Palm Angels x Missoni for a quite unique take on a Bayern Munich shirt.
Francesco Ragazzi’s Palm Angels has always carried with it an easy Californian vibe, but for the link up with Missoni, the two found a shared design language that combined the American-flavoured sportswear with the luxury fashion house's flashy knitwear. It’s a unique look that’s been captured perfectly by SETTPACE, with the shirt taking that setup style, blending an unrestrained mix of patterns, colours, volumes and shapes to envelope the Bayern silhouette, retaining the Three Stripes on the shoulders.
