Ready for this summer and beyond, adidas drop the ‘Advancement Pack’, which sees the all-new F50 lining up alongside the Predator 24 and Copa Pure 2 for the first time.

We recently got reintroduced to the F50 with the ‘Fast Reborn’ pack, the iconic franchise following in the footsteps of the Predator in being resurrected from retirement. Now, it falls in line with the Predator 24 and the Copa Pure 2, the three taking on a uniform colour scheme for the ‘Advancement Pack’ ahead of this summer’s international tournaments. But despite the presence of the Predator and COPA, this one’s all about the F50.

Presented in a "White/Solar Red/Lucid Blue" colourway, the F50 comes in three options: Elite Laced, Elite Laceless and F50 Mid W Elite. They all feature Sprintframe 360, a specifically designed soleplate built to provide optimised stability and traction. The heel counter on the soleplate works harmoniously with a stud configuration of rounded and bladed studs for foot steadiness at push-off – all working in tandem to help facilitate multidirectional speed and acceleration.

The laced version features a compression-fit tunnel tongue – an adaptable tongue configuration featuring strategically placed reinforcements to provide additional stability for the foot and create an enhanced fit and lockdown in the forefoot and midfoot. While the laceless model incorporates a collar made from Primeknit material which molds to the shape of the wearer’s foot, for maximum comfort.

The F50 Mid W Elite differs with the implementation of features optimised for a woman’s foot. The ultra-soft Primeknit Midcut Collar offers an adaptive fit around the ankle for stability and comfort. Additionally, using athlete feedback garnered throughout the development process of the F50, a supplementary sock liner has been applied to the upper region of the silhouette to further stabilise foot movement within the boot by providing optimal arch support – with the two combining to deliver a modified fit for women footballers of all levels.

The Advancement Pack F50 was seen on pitch for the first time during the men’s UEFA Champions League Final and will be worn by some of the best players in the world such as Lionel Messi, Rafael Leão, Son Heung-min, Linda Caicedo, Trinity Rodman, Lamine Yamal and Florian Wirtz.

The F50 is then supported by the ever-popular Predator 24, which comes in a "Lucid Blue/Ftwr White/Solar Red" colourway that instantly conjures images of the "Japan Blue" Predator Mania from 2002. That boot was rereleased back in 2020, but here it is geared up for the modern game and has already been worn by Jude Bellingham.

Rounding out the Advancement Pack, we get the COPA Pure 2, which looks luxurious in a "Ftwr White/Lucid Blue/Solar Red" colourway. Feels like following the predator 24 and now the F50 replacing the X, COPA is next in line for a refresh, so who knows how many more colourways we're likely to get. But this one is clean, making that quilted vamp look even more supple and comfortable than usual. If that's possible.
