adidas Launch Ajax Kits with a Twist

Ajax have revealed their new adidas home and away shirts for next season but not before they'd played a prank on Frank de Boer and the players.

Edwin van der Sar, and an actor pretending to be from adidas presented the new Ajax home and away jerseys for the 2014/15 season to head coach Frank de Boer, players Siem de Jong and Daley Blind and goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen. The cheeky scamps presented the players with some atrocious jerseys and filmed it all with secret cameras.

The fake shirts included designs with stereotypical Dutch characteristics, like tulips, bikes, Amsterdam canal houses and curtains of a pancake house and a whopping great big lion's face (we quite liked that one). The prank was quickly revealed just before a fuming Frank de Boer dispatched his clogs right up the actor's Amsterdam canal house.

What do you think of the real Ajax 2014/15 kits and the video? Leave your comments below.
