Back in February, adidas unveiled the Predator Mundial sneaker, combining two of its most iconic football franchises for one standout lifestyle release. Now, the striking silhouette gets two new color refreshes.

Following on from the hugely successful launch of the nostalgia-laden Predator 24, adidas Originals gave us the Predator Mundial – a purely lifestyle piece that carries the history and heritage of the Copa Mundial, combined with the performance aesthetics of the Predator, and repackaged for the street. It initially dropped in two colourways: the classic “Core Black/Cloud White/Crystal White” look, that also features hits of red to complete the traditional Predator look, and “Grey One/Silver Metallic/Gum”, which tones down the colour links to the Predator for a more lifestyle-led look. And now we get two more options added to the silhouette’s repertoire.

First up we get a “Crystal White/Core Black/Gum” look that acts as a nice counter to the original black and white look, inverting the presentation with a white base with black Three Stripes.

The “Better Scarlet/Ftw White/Gum” look arrives as an inversion of the colourway we saw Trent Alexander-Arnold debuting when he revealed his switch to Adidas, with a red base joined by white Three Stripes.

Both looks follow suit with the previous two, combining the Accelerator-styled branding on the lateral and medial sides with the quilted vamp and stitch lines of the Copa Mundial, but interestingly they switch out leather in this area for suede overlays – a classic calling card of sneakers like the Samba and Gazelle. Doesn’t change the pitch-perfect style though, blended as it is with a streetwear aesthetic that's perfect for the terraces.
