Framed #173: England v Montenegro

England celebrated their 1000th fixture in style last night by putting on a clinical display of attacking prowess. On a landmark and historic night at Wembley, the young Lions stuck seven without reply past Montenegro. Going behind the scenes at the venue of their most famous win in 1966, we captured the scenes as Harry Kane helped himself to another hat-trick and Tammy Abraham opened his own account.

Framed #172: Dulwich Hamlet v Carlisle United

The curtain was raised on this season’s FA Cup proper when Non-League Dulwich Hamlet welcomed League Two’s Carlisle United to Champion Hill. Friday night under the lights, rain coming down, record attendance: yep, this is what it’s all about. No more incentive needed for a ‘Framed’ instalment.

Framed #171 | Arsenal WFC v Man City WFC

A sunny autumn afternoon greeted us at Boreham Wood Football Club on Sunday as we dropped in to make Arsenal Women v Manchester City Women the latest stop in our 'Framed' series. A whole host of international talent on show in a heavyweight fixture in the Women's Super League and an early top of the table clash.

Framed #170 | Western Sydney Wanderers v Sydney FC

Western Sydney Wanderers have enjoyed a fine start to life in their new, purpose built Bankwest Stadium, but a sold-out local derby against Sydney FC would certainly provide a stern test of their credentials. Local derby down under in a brand new stadium with added Wanderers' manager Markus Babbel doing his best Peaky Blinders? Got ‘Framed’ written all over it, so of course we duly obliged by attending.

Framed #169 | LAFC v LA Galaxy

LAFC taking on LA Galaxy in the Audi 2019 MLS Cup Western Conference semi finals. El Trafico, but with the added intensity of it being knockout football. Winner takes all. Yeah, no way we were going to miss this one. A rocking Banc of California Stadium welcomed SoccerBible once more as we took our seats for the latest instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #168 | Liechtenstein v Italy

On paper, Italy’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Liechtenstein was never going to be much of a test, and so it proved as we hunkered down in the pouring rain, desperate for the Rheinpark Stadion to provide some shelter and respite from the elements, to watch what was to be the next instalment of our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #167 | Portland Timbers v San Jose

Portland was the place to be in Major League Soccer at the weekend as the Timbers hosted San Jose Earthquakes with both teams hoping to win to book a play-off berth. Stakes were high, the atmosphere was bouncing and there were a bunch of bearded blokes chopping up wood pitch-side. That's more than enough going on to make it the latest stop on our 'Framed' series.

Design Photography

Framed #166 | LAFC v Houston Dynamo

LAFC, playing in only their second season since the club’s collective creation, had the chance to lift the first piece of silverware in their short history when they faced Houston Dynamo. With anticipation levels at an all-time high amongst the 3252 supporters, this was one we couldn’t miss, so we headed to the Banc of California Stadium for the latest instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Framed #165 | Bologna v Roma

Four games in and this season’s Serie A is already shaping up to be an exciting affair, and Bologna v Roma saw two of the unbeaten sides in the league going toe-to-toe. With 14 goals scored so far between them, this one had enough potential for us to saddle up and head to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara for the next instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #164 | Tigres UNAL v Cruz Azul

In what is the culmination of the latest venture between Liga MX and MLS, Tigres UNAL prepared to face Cruz Azul in the inaugural Leagues Cup final at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Whitney, Nevada. That’s right, for the next instalment of our “Framed’ series we packed our bags and headed to Vegas, baby!

Framed #163 | USA v Uruguay

The St. Louis Cardinals gave up their home turf of Busch Stadium for the United States to face Uruguay in another friendly match, with the home side looking to avoid back-to-back defeats against South American opposition. We took our seats to get a closer look at the action as part of our ‘Framed’ Series.

Design Photography

Framed #162 | Brazil v Peru

In a replay of this summer’s Copa America final, Brazil faced Peru for an international friendly on the neutral turf of Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Half full but still rocking with some South American Samba beats, we took our seats for the next instalment in our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #161 | USA v Mexico

For the latest instalment of our ‘Framed’ series, we headed Stateside to witness one of the region’s biggest rivalries as the USA hosted Mexico in a replay of this summer’s Gold Cup final. Seeking a measure of revenge after Mexico triumphed in that contest, the U.S. fielded a young team at the MetLife Stadium, New Jersey.

Design Photography

Framed #160 | Chelsea Women v Spurs Women

The 2019/20 Women's Super League kicked off in style over the weekend as Chelsea Women were handed the keys to Stamford Bridge to host Tottenham Hotspur. A winning start in front of a record crowd, on a weekend that represented a huge marker for the progression of women's football in the UK. An easy choice for the next stop in our 'Framed' series.

Design Photography

Framed #159 | Brazil v Colombia

Billed as a friendly, but likely to be anything but, Brazil faced Colombia on neutral turf at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens. With the competitive return of Neymar on the cards this was not one to miss and the backdrop made it the perfect addition to our ‘Framed’ series.

Design Photography

Framed #158 | LAFC v Minnesota United

Following the excitement of El Tráfico, Los Angeles FC were back in action at the Banc of California Stadium, and this time they welcomed Minnesota United, who are one of several teams in the chasing pack of the Western Conference. No Vela, no problems? That's what we wanted to find out as we took our seats for the latest in our ‘Framed’ series.
