Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another”.
This verse from Proverbs tell us how a relationship is sharpened and shows us how good friends will bring out the best in one another. This does not mean that they will not see and deal with one another’s faults, as this is part of the sharpening of each other’s personalities. True friends are able to share even their differences, and find a way to resolve them. As they do this, each one’s character is refined, just as an iron blade is sharpened by the honing from another piece of iron. Even though sparks may fly when this happens, the end result is a sharp edge.
